
"Either with love – or not at all" is the motto of twin sisters Forough and Sahar Sodoudi. Anyone who visits them in Berlin is immersed in the lightness, abundance, and freshness of Persian cuisine: every bite is a taste of culture. Alongside creamy mazzeh and crunchy salads, beloved classics also find their place in their first cookbook – not without a clever twist: lentils, spices, and golden sultanas mingle with saffron rice, while Persian-style meatballs are wrapped in a fragrant tomato-lemon sauce.
The passionate hosts are actually doctors who had achieved everything in their scientific careers. But they traded climate science and geophysics for aprons and wooden spoons – out of pure passion. Today, the winners of the Gastro Founder Award and "Berlin Hosts 2024" inspire thousands in their Berlin-based “Culture and Food Lab.”
